At Faaborg - Svanninge, Sacha said " I aimed for being 5th or 6th, but suddenly I was in the lead!" making it sound like he was aiming for 5th on the day. MerschFlyers DS commented "Obviously it's nonsense and untrue - Sacha is very driven to win. This was a misunderstanding of context. We were not running our normal lead-out strategy. Usually Karen or Djabo keep up the pace, then Sacha follows Lean straight out of the lead for the win. But that day Djabo was keeping Sacha out of the cross winds all day and couldn't do a lead out. Lean was on rest, so our plan was for Sacha to slot in around 5th or 6th, follow the wheels and win on the line. But Geoffry went early, Sacha was on his wheel and suddenly in the lead with 150 meters to go. It was a bit long but Sacha made it." Sacha added "Fares is a better pure sprinter, particularly for longer sprints like this. We made it really hard in the hills so maybe he was a little tired there. Raymond was hurting me on the hills but I had more speed at the end. Looks like I just got the sweet spot that day". The team stayed tight lipped about their plans. Kevin only stated "We'll be competitive at end of season. Lots of racing then. You can expect to see us in Division 5 for next season"

Don, I can't believe you'd bet on Luxembourg's best cyclist being 5th. And the choice of agreement has nothing to do with the fact that two of the lead-outs used to ride with Australian Warlord
You know what they say Don, when a lot of money is down for a particular result, it's encouragement for a bribe with cash down to get a different result. Not saying anything about the new money in my account or anything of course.
This smells like he didn't honor his agreement with our betting agencies.
You have no idea how much money I put on him finishing 5th!
